🟢 How does it handle snow removal and shoveling?

You can shovel rubber paving just like any other surface! For best results, we recommend using a plastic-edged shovel or a snowblower with a rubber-edged paddle. Because the surface is slightly flexible, ice often breaks up more easily on rubber than it does on rigid stone.

🟢 Can I power wash my rubber driveway?

Yes, you can power wash it to remove dirt or moss. However, we recommend a “fan tip” setting and keeping the pressure under 3200 psi. Avoid using a “pencil tip” jet held too close to the surface, as extreme concentrated pressure can damage the porous bond.

🟢 Is your rubber paving UV-resistant?

We use premium UV-stable binders. While some natural “mellowing” of color can occur over the first few weeks, our high-quality EPDM mixes are designed to maintain their vibrant color despite the intense sun or heavy rain common in British Columbia.

Rubber paving is remarkably resilient. While you should wipe up major spills as soon as possible, occasional oil drips from a vehicle won’t cause the surface to “eat away” or crumble like it does with asphalt. A bit of degreaser and a hose-down usually does the trick.
