Maintenance Tips for Rubber Paving

While rubber paving is low-maintenance, it's still important to take care of it to ensure it lasts as long as possible. Here are some useful maintenance tips:

• Sweep your rubber paving regularly to remove dirt and debris. This will prevent buildup and keep your paving looking clean and fresh.  A leaf blower will also work.
• ​​​ Use a pressure washer or garden hose to clean your rubber paving. Applying household bleach with a few drops of liquid dish soap will be very effective in removing moss patches and algae.  It also does an amazing job in cleaning the rubber.
•  If you have a rubber driveway, do not perform any stationary turns with your car as this can damage the rubber.  
• Avoid placing heavy furniture or equipment on your rubber paving, as this can cause damage over time.
• Do not walk on newly installed rubber paving until it is no longer tacky to the touch.  It is moisture curing, so lightly misting with water will speed up the drying process.

By following these simple maintenance tips, you can extend the lifespan of your rubber paving and keep it looking great for years to come.
